I just got my gay nerd life from these.

Someone included Polaris for once. It’s a miracle!

Design Update: May 25th, 2014

I decided to start draping a design for my Fall 2015 collection. Upon inspecting the sketch, I’m realizing that the sleeve is going to be tricky. It’s going to be a two-piece sleeve being set into a drop shoulder. The drop shoulder itself is going to be a leather panel that is going to be inset into the bodice.

I’ve not drafted a two-piece sleeve in a long while. I’ve never drafted a drop shoulder. Plus the neckline for the dress is going to be a stovepipe neck. It’s a lot of pieces that I’ve never attempted before and I’m panicking eversoslightly.

But that’s what happens with design. You gotta make it work.

Below is the sketch of the dress, it’s the one to the right.
